Mrs. Denise Dumas-Koylass possesses postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology. She was awarded the master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and has also been trained in specialized areas such as the treatment of anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma-based counselling and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. She has also volunteered with the Elpis Centre, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), since the establishment of the Centre in 2009, and is responsible for counselling clients who are struggling with Post Abortion Stress.
