Wanted: A Registered nurse for half a day four mornings a week at our Multi-disciplinary Private Practice in Woodbrook.

Excellent bedside manner, professionalism and confidentiality are a must. You must be able to work well in a Team and be vaccinated against Hepatitis B and COVID 19 or be happy to make arrangements to be vaccinated.

The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and take blood proficiently. We are a Paper light practice which uses an Electronic Medical Record so the ideal candidate must be comfortable online/with the usual programs. If you are successful, we will provide you with training on how to use the system. Basic Life support training is ideal, but updates may be required if your application is successful.

Your duties may involve:

Phlebotomy
Administration of vaccines
Wound care and dressings
Intravenous therapies.
Spirometry (Training can be provided)
Taking ECGs (Training can be provided)
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (Training can be provided)
Maintaining the Emergency Drug bag checks.
Stock Taking
Chaperoning or assisting the doctor when necessary.
Calling back patients at the doctor’s request.
